Kate lives in Berkley with her husband and three children, and is a soloist and soprano section leader at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Birmingham. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University, and has appeared as the Lead in many collegiate and local
theatrical productions.

Julie lives in Troy with her husband and daughter. She earned her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and has been a teacher since 2000. Julie sang in the Oldies Band “Moose and Da Sharks” for 20 years. She is currently also a member in an oldies trio (The Sharkettes) and a jazz trio (Birdland Babes), is a soloist at various Un

Michigan Jazz Festival.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Wayne State University and a Master of Accounting from Oakland University. She enjoys arranging music for Velvet and is also a soloist and alto section leader at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Birmingham. Sh
